Questions about Something Wild Events Ltd?
How do we get our race numbers & timing chips?
They will be posted out approximately 7 days before the race for the Burrator 10K. For other races we organise they are normally collected on the morning.

Sorry, we are not able to offer refunds. You can now defer your race entry up to 7 days before the race for a charge of £7. This will give you a code worth the full price of your entry and valid for 12 months for any of our races. This code can also be passed on if you find someone who wants to take your place.
Or we offer FREE deferrals to people who volunteer to help marshal at one of our races. You’ll find the instructions for deferring your entry at the link below – support.chronotrack.com/hc/en-us/articles/204834280

What’s the minimum age for the 10K & the Children’s Races?
Under England Athletics (Runbritain) rules the minimum age is 15 for road 10Ks (16 for trail BTW).
However we also have kids races in the hour before the main race on the trails round the Reservoir. And anyone entering children for the Kids Races will bet a pass to park by the Reservoir.
There is a 1K for children under 8 (and children as young as 2 are welcome accompanied by a parent) and a 2K for children aged 8 – 14. CLICK HERE to find out more.
Where can I park?
Cars with two or more people will be able to park by the reservoir. We will have parking marshalls directing. If you’re on your own in a car please use the free Park & Ride Service from Yelverton. Cars containing more than one person can also use the park and ride if they prefer to avoid congestion at the reservoir.
Can I run with my kids in the kids race?
For the Under 8s 1K race (open to everyone from 2-7) we recommend parents run with their children. For the 2K race for ages 8-11 you are welcome to run with your kids although in some cases you may have trouble keeping up 🙂
Can wheelchairs or buggies take part?
Wheelchairs are permitted and the short gravel section on the course should not present a problem. Unfortunately buggies or push chairs are not allowed under England Athletics rules.
